Girls group helped me emotional by talking out my problems and having a group of girls that I don’t always speak to there to listen and give me advice. Socially it helped me be more understanding of others. It was cool that most everyone had something to say each time we met especially since we didn’t really meet often. Academically we talked about colleges and if we were happy with our grades. The seniors offered to help out the sophomores if they struggled in a subject which was special. We all got a better understanding of sexual health as well thanks to Ms. Neda’s friend Ms. Pam. Girls group should return next year to our school so that more girls can have this great experience, help, and support for strong young Black ladies.
